SBC and the Gaming Regulators Africa Forum (GRAF) announced a partnership covering events in Maputo and Lisbon in 2026. SBC will support GRAF’s conference in Maputo from 14 to 17 September, while GRAF will participate in the regulatory programme at the African Gaming Forum in Lisbon on 30 September.
The agreement creates scheduled opportunities for African gaming regulators and industry participants to discuss regulatory issues.

It was reported that SBC will hold a Global Prediction Markets Forum in Lisbon on 1 October. The standalone event will run alongside SBC Summit and cover commercial opportunities and regulation.
The Democratic Republic of Congo’s Gaming Supervision Unit (CSJA) presented its central monitoring platform at the Gaming Regulators Africa Forum in Maputo last week, according to a media report. The system is being integrated with operator platforms and payment providers and is designed to flag patterns associated with risky gambling, while restricting access to personal data.
