Sapar calls for dialogue on Italy’s retail gambling rules
Sapar vice-president Francesco Gatti called for dialogue among the gambling sector, politicians and ADM at Enada 2026 in Rimini. He said land-based machines were losing ground while lotteries and online gambling were performing positively, and argued that regulatory and technological gaps disadvantaged retail gambling.
Gatti’s comments highlight concerns that Italy’s retail rules and technology may affect land-based operators and equipment suppliers.
