SAPAR president Sergio D’Angelo said the association’s collaboration with SiGMA Group will continue through 2029 after SiGMA World 2026 in Rome. The arrangement also covers ENADA Primavera; SAPAR used the event to raise concerns about a possible increase in taxes on gaming machines and its potential effects on business margins and employment.

SiGMA World 2026 has closed at Fiera Roma, with SAPAR taking part as an Official Partner. SAPAR president Sergio D’Angelo said the association's collaboration with SiGMA Group will continue until 2029.
The collaboration between SAPAR and SiGMA Group, planned to run to 2029, also involves ENADA Primavera. D’Angelo said he wants to continue it, starting with the next events.
D’Angelo expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the fair and with the work done alongside SiGMA Group. He said the collaboration had given Italian businesses a practical space to present themselves, meet new contacts and exchange views with operators from other markets.
SAPAR also used the event to put forward the view of small and medium-sized management businesses. In panels on the Italian market and on the outlook for land-based operators, the association drew attention to the effects that a further increase in the levy on machines could have on business margins and employment.
D’Angelo said the issues SAPAR raised included the sustainability of businesses and the prospects for the reorganisation of physical gaming. He added that the discussions during the fair help the association understand which demands to pursue and in what order of priority.
