Robinhood agrees to end Michigan sports-contract positions by 9 October

Regulation

Michigan gaming regulators said Robinhood agreed to stop customers entering new sports-related event contract positions and to close remaining positions by 9 October. The state will refrain from enforcing its sports betting laws against Robinhood while it follows those restrictions; the arrangement remains in place pending specified court proceedings or other stated conditions. Robinhood said it does not believe the contracts violate state law.

Robinhood’s Michigan sports-event contracts face restrictions while related court proceedings remain unresolved.
