Michigan judge orders Kalshi to stop sports contracts during lawsuit

Regulation

An Ingham County judge ordered Kalshi on 29 June to stop offering or advertising sports-related contracts in Michigan while the state’s lawsuit continues. Kalshi said it would comply while challenging the ruling; non-compliance could bring a $120,000-per-day fine, according to the judge.

The order requires Kalshi to exclude Michigan users from its sports contracts while the lawsuit proceeds.
