The Responsible Gambling Council and the Ottawa Senators launched a partnership in Ontario and Quebec to promote responsible gambling resources. The arrangement includes in-arena messaging, digital signage, social media content and contests, and runs through June 2027 with an option to extend.
The partnership gives the council access to the Senators’ home-game and social media channels for prevention messaging.

The Responsible Online Gaming Association (ROGA) said it had adopted a voluntary marketing code for its eight operator members in the US. The system was not yet operational; the report said it would allow users to exclude themselves from 82 licensed websites through one platform. Ontario operators would have to display BetGuard and block access and communications for centrally excluded users, among other requirements described by the AGCO.
Alberta officials are targeting a spring or summer rollout for the province’s regulated online casino market, according to a report. Interim Alberta iGaming Corporation chief executive Dan Keen said the framework will channel existing play into a regulated market; operators will need RG Check accreditation, and Alberta has introduced advertising restrictions.
