Queensland regulator sets checklist rules for gambling exclusions

Regulation

Source: OLGR Queensland

Queensland's Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation says gaming machine, wagering and Keno providers must report identified breaches of gambling exclusions. Providers must also complete its checklist if they identify an excluded patron 30 minutes or more after the person enters an exclusion area; voluntary completion is otherwise encouraged, and the checklist is needed only once in any 12-month period.

Providers need to distinguish voluntary checklist use from mandatory breach reporting and completion requirements.
