ProntoPaga says it will suspend Chile gaming platforms that miss digital VAT payments

Deals & M&A

Payments technology provider ProntoPaga said it will suspend services to online gambling platforms registered under Chile’s simplified digital-services VAT regime if they fail to pay the tax due to the Internal Revenue Service. The payment deadline stated in the report is 20 October 2026; platforms that complete registration and pay may continue using ProntoPaga’s services.

Platforms that miss the stated VAT deadline risk losing access to ProntoPaga’s payment services.
