Polymarket seeks US approval for margin trading

Licences & markets

Polymarket’s US subsidiary, Coming Home GBA LLC, has applied to the National Futures Association for a Futures Commission Merchant licence, reportedly. Polymarket also plans to seek Commodity Futures Trading Commission approval for rules allowing trading on positions that are not fully collateralised. The applications would enable the company to offer margin trading to US customers if approved.

Approval could allow Polymarket to expand its US prediction-market offering, subject to federal authorisation.
