Betting Technology, Content & Services drew the most revenue, at $153m, up 33% from a year before. Genius attributed the increase to existing customers, citing higher prices when contracts were renewed or renegotiated. Revenue at Media Technology, Content & Services leapt 126% to $116.9m, largely because of the Legend deal.
In Q3 Genius widened its footprint in prediction markets, striking partnerships with Polymarket and Kalshi that cover content, integrity services and marketing solutions. The company also launched a comparison platform for prediction markets, covering probabilities, event contracts and insights.
Operating costs rose 22% to $81.6m. Interest expense was $19.1m, well above the prior-year level. Year to date, revenue rose 52.3% to $653.3m. Genius now expects revenue of between $1.02bn and $1.04bn, up from restated guidance of $1.01bn to $1.03bn given in Q2. It forecasts adjusted EBITDA of $287m to $297m, compared with previous guidance of $285m to $295m. Genius expects a year-end cash balance of approximately $260m.
