Regulation

Panama’s Office of the Comptroller General reported that licensed operators recorded US$1.3288 billion in gross wagers from January to May 2026, up 16.2% year on year, using data from the Gaming Control Board. The figures exclude Type C slot machines in authorised bars, restaurants and other commercial venues; online gaming wagers rose 57% to US$299.6 million.

Operators and investors can compare growth across reported segments while accounting for the exclusion of Type C slot machines.
