Ontario’s regulated online gambling market recorded €6.46 billion in wagers in May, reportedly 2% more than in April. Operators retained €280.9 million before deductions, also up 2%; casino wagers accounted for €5.71 billion, while sports wagers fell 7% to €661 million.
The figures show casino play drove monthly growth while sports betting activity declined in Ontario.

Wyoming’s sports wagers rose 13% to $16.9 million in May, reportedly. Revenue was lower than in May 2025, the report said.
Panama’s National Institute of Statistics and Census reported gross gambling and betting wagers of 1.60783 billion balboas in the first half of 2026, up 16.5% year on year. Internet gambling revenue reached 379.75 million balboas, an increase of 59.8%. The Financial Analysis Unit said suspicious transaction reports are alerts, not confirmation of criminal activity.
Louisiana sports betting wagers reportedly increased 25% year on year to $306.1 million in June. Wagers for the first half of 2026 reached $2.04 billion, the report said.
Panama’s Office of the Comptroller General reported that licensed operators recorded US$1.3288 billion in gross wagers from January to May 2026, up 16.2% year on year, using data from the Gaming Control Board. The figures exclude Type C slot machines in authorised bars, restaurants and other commercial venues; online gaming wagers rose 57% to US$299.6 million.
