PAGCOR sets B2B supplier submission and certification deadlines

PAGCOR issued updated requirements for online gaming platform operators and suppliers in the Philippines, in a document dated 29 January. Operators must submit a complete B2B vendor list by 12 February, while the stated deadline for B2B certification is 31 March; gaming content suppliers must provide a PHP1 million cash deposit.

Operators and suppliers face specified registration, certification and deposit requirements, with possible suspensions for non-compliance.

PAGCOR expects government commission endorsement of proposed decoupling

PAGCOR chairman and chief executive Alejandro Tengco said the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations was expected to endorse PAGCOR’s proposed separation from Casino Filipino before the proposal goes to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr for consideration. Tengco also said PAGCOR planned to launch an app in the fourth quarter to help players identify legitimate online gaming platforms.
