PAGCOR reports PHP43.32bn first-half revenue, down 26.64%
PAGCOR reported first-half 2026 revenue of P43.32bn, down 26.64% from P59.05bn a year earlier, as gaming operations revenue fell 27.11% to P38.92bn. Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco attributed the revenue decline partly to geopolitical tensions affecting consumer spending in the first quarter; net income fell 85.29% to P1.58bn, which he linked to higher remittances to the Philippine Sports Commission following a Supreme Court ruling.
The results show a sharp fall in PAGCOR income and gaming revenue, alongside higher statutory remittances to the sports commission.
