Enforcement & compliance

Ontario’s securities commission issued a failure-to-file cease trade order against NorthStar Gaming Holdings after it failed to submit its audited 2025 annual financial statements. The company said its auditor withdrew an earlier audit report and that its annual meeting, scheduled for 25 May 2026, had been postponed. The order may be automatically subject to revocation if the filings are made within 90 days; NorthStar Bets continues operating, the report said.

NorthStar’s trading remains halted until audited filings meet regulatory requirements.
