OpenBet launches omnichannel sportsbook for Loterie Romande
Deals & M&A · SectorWire deskSource published 2 min read
OpenBet has launched an omnichannel sportsbook platform for Loterie Romande, the Swiss lottery and sports betting operator, the company announced. The launch follows an agreement reached in March 2025 and has moved Loterie Romande's JouezSport sportsbook from FDJ Gaming Solutions to the OpenBet platform. The platform covers online, self-service and 2,350 point-of-sale retail locations in Switzerland's six French-speaking cantons.
For odds and risk management, Loterie Romande will rely on OpenBet's Managed Trading Services, which applies AI. A single integration into the OpenBet Trading System also gives the operator one hub that coordinates data, trading services and content from multiple vendors. Cash Out is live from launch, OpenBet said.
OpenBet president Nikos Konstakis said the company was partnering with Loterie Romande to deliver an enhanced player experience with Cash Out live at launch, alongside a commitment to responsible gaming and regulatory compliance. He said OpenBet would continue its record of delivering technology and scale to WLA members.
Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, CEO of Loterie Romande, said the supplier's sportsbook technology, track record and customer-centric approach made it the best fit for the operator's specific requirements and the natural choice to evolve the experience for its players. He added that the operator was excited to see how the partnership continues to evolve and looked forward to working closely with the OpenBet team. In Switzerland's six French-speaking cantons, Loterie Romande holds the exclusive lottery and sports betting licence.
