Oddin.gg acquired Denmark-based esports data provider GameScorekeeper, according to the companies. GameScorekeeper supplies structured game, team and player information and historical data across more than 10 esports titles; Oddin.gg said the acquisition will broaden its data products for partners.

It was reported that Oddin.gg secured licences in Kansas and Wyoming. The approvals permit the company to supply its esports betting products in both markets.

Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis has registered 35 operator sites at various approval stages ahead of the province’s planned 13 July online gambling launch, according to the report. Oddin.gg appointed Martin Lycka as vice-president of institutional affairs, the company said. Lycka will work with regulators, policymakers and industry bodies as Oddin.gg seeks to expand into additional regulated jurisdictions; he previously held regulatory roles at Entain, GVC Holdings and Paddy Power Betfair.
