Octoplay is expanding in the United Kingdom after launching with online casino operator MrQ. In the market, MrQ is the thirteenth operator partner for Octoplay, which already works with names such as bet365 and evoke.

The studio's first UK go-live, with Paddy Power and Betfair, came three years before this launch and followed its licence approval in March 2023.

Octoplay chief executive Ralitsa Georgieva said the studio launched its first game in the UK, which she described as the market that sets the standard for everything it builds. Georgieva said: "Operators here re-order their lobbies on performance, and being asked back by new brands is the endorsement that matters."

Daniel Pascoe, senior casino manager at MrQ, said the operator is picky about what goes into its lobby. He said that since going live, the titles have become "a genuine part of the MrQ mix".
