Octoplay launched its games with BetMGM, FanDuel, Fanatics and Rush Street Interactive in Michigan, its second US state. The supplier said the rollout came less than six months after its New Jersey debut; director of business development Ralitsa Georgieva said it expected to enter more states during 2025.

Analysts reviewing New York Gaming Commission data for the week ending 5 April reported online sports betting gross gaming revenue up 30% year over year, while handle fell 9%. Their analysis put the hold rate at 11.3%, including results from the NCAA Basketball Tournament Final Four.
Citizens Equity Research analyst Jordan Bender estimated that US prediction markets account for about 5% of regulated sports betting volume, equivalent to roughly US$8bn annually. The analysis said operators without prediction-market exposure could face a slight negative effect; it also reported average bets of US$185 on prediction platforms, compared with US$55 at regulated online sportsbooks.
Voters in Nebraska, Virginia and Indiana are considering gambling measures in the 2026 US midterm elections, according to the report. Nebraska Initiatives 440 and 441 would together allow regulated online sports wagering tied to licensed racetracks; Virginia measures concern local horse-racing venues, while votes in three Indiana counties concern eligibility to pursue a casino licence.
DraftKings and FanDuel each contributed $10.4 million to a Nebraska campaign supporting two ballot measures to legalise mobile sports betting, according to the report. Voters are due to decide on the measures on 3 November; approval of both would allow mobile sportsbooks to partner with licensed racetrack casinos.
