Germany’s OASIS player-exclusion system recorded more than 5.2 billion checks in 2025, according to a report discussing its role in the 2026 evaluation of the Gambling State Treaty. The system had around 367,000 active exclusions, and the report says it covers licensed online and land-based gambling.
The figures indicate the scale of player-status checks and active exclusions relevant to operators using OASIS.

GeoComply said its Missouri online sportsbook customers generated more than 2.6 million geolocation checks during the first 24 hours of legal sports betting. The company also reported more than 250,000 active betting accounts on 1 December and nearly 188,000 pre-registered accounts created in the preceding two weeks.
EDGE Markets said it expects to process more than $2bn in transactions during the 2026 NFL season. The company reported more than $800m in volume during the season’s first 44 days, compared with $1.2bn over the full 2025 season.
More than 400 British racing figures signed an open letter asking the UK government to pause proposed betting affordability checks. They warned the measures could reduce betting activity and racing funding, and push gamblers towards the black market; the checks are scheduled for Gambling Commission board approval next month.
Turin police and other authorities inspected 20 public venues during an operation launched on 21 September in Borgo Aurora and nearby areas. The checks resulted in administrative fines totalling more than €28,000, with reported violations including rules on gaming machines, hygiene requirements and unauthorised outdoor seating; the police said the operation would continue in the coming weeks.
ADM's Catania office reported more than 150 inspections since January across gambling venues and other licensed businesses. The authority said checks led to about 10 reports over unauthorised betting intermediation, around 40 non-compliant machines, tax assessments that could exceed €3m and administrative penalties totalling more than €1.5m.
