NGCB asks Nevada court to hold Kalshi in contempt
The Nevada Gaming Control Board has asked the First Judicial District Court to hold KalshiEX in contempt and impose monetary penalties, alleging the platform breached a 18 May order. That order required Kalshi to stop offering sports, election and entertainment-related event contracts in Nevada; the board says the contracts constitute wagering under state law.
The court’s decision could affect Kalshi’s ability to offer event contracts in Nevada.
