Licences & markets

Nevada's Gaming Control Board said it will hold a special meeting on 25 June to consider licensing Terrible’s to operate the Primm Valley casino-hotel. The Nevada Gaming Commission is due to vote on final approval the same day; the proposed transfer is intended to avert a 4 July closure and preserve about 330 jobs, according to a board member.

The licensing decision will determine whether Terrible’s can take over Primm Valley before its announced closure date.
