Nevada's 453 casinos won $1.2bn in September, a 0.05% decline from September 2025, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported. For the fiscal year that began on 1 July, gaming win has increased 1.6%, according to the board.
Las Vegas Strip win rose 0.82% to $693.4m. Clark County, which includes downtown Las Vegas, Laughlin, the Boulder Strip and Mesquite, declined 0.95% to $1.08bn.
Sparks stood out in Washoe County, where it was the sole jurisdiction to record a double-digit gain, as gaming win climbed 20.8% in September to $17.1m. Reno's win fell 3.5% to $72.9m, North Lake Tahoe was down 1.1% to $2.2m, and the outlying areas edged up 1.1% to $8.5m, per the Control Board.
Elko County win rose 11.6% to $35.2m, with Wendover up 8.1% to $22.8m and the balance of the county up 18.8% to $12.3m. The Carson Valley area, which includes Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all areas of Douglas County except South Lake Tahoe, increased 6.6% to $12.1m.
The board collected $81.1m in percentage fees in October on taxable revenue generated in September, a 6.8% decrease, or $5.8m, compared with September 2025.
Jordan Bender, an analyst with Citizens, said in a research note that the gaming win figure was "slightly below our expectations". Bender wrote that the underperformance stemmed from mass table revenue declining 5% year on year, following a 19% decline in August, and said companies at Global Gaming Expo and on Boyd Gaming's earnings call discussed softer trends in August and September across the Las Vegas Valley.
