Regulation

The Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended changes to casino cyber-incident reporting rules at a workshop, according to the report. The proposal would require licensees to notify the board within 24 hours of a confirmed attack, followed by an initial response report within five calendar days and updates every 30 days until resolution. The Nevada Gaming Commission must approve the amendments on 18 December.

Nevada casino licensees would face shorter notification and follow-up deadlines if the commission approves the proposal.
