Nevada Gaming Control Board updates helpline and proposes casino surveillance changes

Regulation

The Nevada Gaming Control Board issued a notice asking casino operators to make updated National Council on Problem Gambling helpline details available to customers. It also proposed revisions to casino surveillance standards covering equipment, staffing, reporting and camera coverage. Licensees may request review of the chair’s administrative decision; a request would suspend implementation while the review is pending.

Nevada casinos may need to adjust helpline displays and surveillance procedures if the proposed standards take effect.
