MGA reminds licensees to monitor suspicious betting during World Cup

Regulation

The Malta Gaming Authority urged its licensees to monitor and report suspicious betting during the FIFA World Cup, the regulator said. It reminded operators to meet their reporting, governance and commercial communications obligations throughout the tournament, which runs from 11 June to 19 July. The MGA warned that non-compliance may lead to regulatory action.

Maltese licensees must monitor suspicious wagering and ensure tournament marketing complies with regulatory requirements.
