Meloni cites restrictions on minors’ access to betting domains in Italy

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni told a video conference on child online safety that SIM cards and contracts registered to minors are automatically blocked from domains covering betting and other specified content. She said Italy was willing to work on an integrated European approach, while age-verification initiatives were under discussion in the Italian parliament.
