The Asociación de Juego Online de Melilla (AJOM) and the region's innovation ministry have presented two new editions of a specialised customer-service training course for online gambling. The courses will be taught in November and December, the outlet reported.
The presentation was attended by AJOM president Javier Pérez Escámez and the minister of innovation technology, Miguel Marín. The initiative is being run under the collaboration agreement between the two bodies and will be taught by BRAIDA.
The programme combines theoretical content and practical cases on player and account management, incident resolution, payments, document verification and digital tools. It also covers risk and fraud detection, applicable regulation and responsible gambling, with particular attention to player protection.
Classes will be held in person at UNED Melilla from 08:30 to 14:30, with each edition lasting 60 hours. The first edition runs from 9 to 13 and 16 to 20 November; the second runs from 9 to 11, 14 to 18, and on 21 and 22 December.
Participants who complete the programme will receive a certificate of participation. Registration is already available through the AJOM website.
According to the report, the association said the initiative reinforces its commitment to training linked to the real needs of companies and to developing local talent in the online gambling industry.
