Massachusetts lawmakers extend online casino bill report deadline to 16 March 2026

Regulation

Massachusetts legislators extended the reporting deadline for Rep David Muradian’s online casino bill, H4431, to 16 March 2026. The proposal would allow the state’s three casinos to offer online casino products, with revenue taxed at 15%. State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg opposes iGaming, while Governor Maura Healey has expressed concern about gambling’s effects on problem gambling.

The extended deadline gives lawmakers more time to consider a proposal that could permit the state’s casinos to offer online gaming.
