Massachusetts Gaming Commission selects betting-limit disclosure proposal
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission selected a draft rule requiring sports betting operators to notify customers when they limit an account and explain the reason and affected markets. The commission said it would next open a 21-day public comment period, with the process expected to finish in the first quarter of 2026.
If adopted, the rule would require operators to provide bettors with reasons and market details when imposing limits.
