Macerata police suspend Civitanova Marche club licence for 15 days
Macerata’s provincial police chief ordered a 15-day suspension of a private club’s licence and food-and-drink service in Civitanova Marche, police said. The measure followed a 21 May inspection that found illegal gambling and other administrative violations; officers seized cash, playing cards and handwritten betting and winnings records. Police said the suspension was precautionary and preventive.
The suspension removes the club’s permission to operate its licensed service for 15 days following findings of illegal gambling.
