Lula weighs measures against Brazil’s online betting platforms

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said on 16 September that he personally favours ending betting platforms but must consider the consequences before deciding. His campaign is preparing an election programme featuring people affected by online gambling dependence, while possible measures against betting platforms are still under consideration.
