Lucas do Rio Verde council approves restrictions on betting advertising
Lucas do Rio Verde's municipal council approved a bill on 8 June 2026 restricting sports betting and gambling advertising in specified public spaces and at events promoted or supported by the municipality. The proposal requires warnings to cover at least 20% of permitted advertising and authorises public-awareness campaigns; it now goes to Mayor Miguel Vaz for consideration and possible approval.
If enacted, the bill would impose local advertising restrictions and warning requirements on betting campaigns in the municipality.
