Ezequiel Domínguez, director of Lotería de la Ciudad, Juan Mennucci, a criminal prosecutor in La Plata, Juan José Suárez, a guarantee judge, and Juan Rozas, a prosecutor at the Specialised Gambling Prosecution Office (FEJA), spoke at the session. According to LOTBA, the regulator works with FEJA and the Judicial Investigations Corps of the Public Prosecution Service to detect and investigate illegal online betting.
LOTBA said that supervision, monitoring and digital tracking produce information that supports investigations which can lead to judicial measures and the blocking of illegal platforms. The session closed with remarks by Jesús Acevedo, president of LOTBA, and Pablo Carrera, president of Fundación Nexum, who stressed the need to continue joint work across jurisdictions.
