Lega Serie B and Sportradar launch Integrity Tour 2026/2027 in Cremona

Deals & M&A · SectorWire deskSource published 2 min read

Lega Serie B and Sportradar have started the 2026/2027 Integrity Tour, a travelling training programme, with the first stop held on Tuesday 20 October at the Arvedi sports centre in Cremona. The programme is promoted by B4People Impresa Sociale as part of Lega Serie B's integrity initiatives and is aimed at the 20 clubs of Serie BKT.

The Cremona day comprised two training sessions, one for the first team and one for the youth sides of U.S. Cremonese. The first team, technical staff and directors took part, followed by the Primavera and Under 17 groups. Sessions were led by Marcello Presilla of Sportradar AG, Gianluigi Pocchi, head of Lega Serie B's social and environmental sustainability area, and Danilo Coppola and Alberto Pomini representing the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC).

The programme covers ethics, sporting loyalty and individual and collective responsibility, and involves players, technical staff, directors and athletes. Its modules also address sport as an educational and social value, with the support of the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo e Culturale, an integrity partner of Lega Serie B, and the integrity of competitions and the fight against match-fixing, in cooperation with Sportradar AG.

For the 2026/2027 season the module on preventing digital addiction has been strengthened and made an integral part of the training programme, through cooperation with the Department for Policies against Drugs and Other Dependencies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The topic had been raised at the B4People presentation event held on 25 March at Palazzo Brasini in Rome, through a pilot stop that tested joint involvement of the first team and the youth sector. The aim is to promote more conscious use of technology and to inform young athletes about the risks of excessive or improper use of digital devices and about managing screen time responsibly.

Lega Serie B president Paolo Bedin said the tour, run through B4People, the league's social and environmental sustainability platform, carries forward work on ethics and inclusion. He said the work is shared with the Department for Policies against Drugs and Other Dependencies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo e Culturale, Sportradar and the AIC, and that it addresses themes central to sport, from preventing digital addiction to protecting the principle of fair competition.
