KSA seeks €840,000 penalty from booms.bet operator

Enforcement & compliance

The Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) is seeking €840,000 from the company behind booms.bet after finding that Dutch users could continue gambling on the site in January 2026. The regulator said the operator failed to stop the breach by the 15 January deadline; it must pay within six weeks of 17 March, although it may object without suspending payment.

The collection decision sets a payment deadline while leaving the operator’s right to object intact.
