Konami Gaming files Japan casino manufacturer licence applications

Licences & markets

Konami Gaming says it has filed applications with Japan’s Casino Regulatory Commission across all applicable casino manufacturer licensing categories. The applications are not approvals, and the company gave no timetable for the regulator’s review; manufacturing permission is required by business category and facility under Japan’s framework.

The filings are a supplier licensing step before Japan’s planned integrated resort opening, but do not yet authorise Konami’s activities.
