Kalshi challenges Louisiana sports event contract laws in federal court
Kalshi reportedly filed a federal lawsuit challenging two Louisiana laws on sports event contracts. The laws took effect on 1 August, and the company is seeking to prevent enforcement before the state acts.
The case could determine whether Kalshi can offer sports event contracts in Louisiana under the challenged laws.
