ITIA suspends Hernán Casanova for two months over betting violations

Enforcement & compliance

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) sanctioned Argentine player Hernán Casanova, who accepted a two-month suspension and a $2,000 fine, of which $1,500 is suspended. The sanction took effect on 4 February 2026 and runs through 3 April; the ITIA said the case involved prohibited tennis bets and failure to report an approach to fix a match.

The sanction bars Casanova from authorised tennis events and illustrates enforcement of rules governing player betting and corruption approaches.
