Italian Democratic Party lawmakers seek gaming-network reform and fewer venues
Democratic Party lawmakers submitted a motion to Italy’s Chamber of Deputies seeking implementation of the planned reorganisation of the land-based public gaming network. The motion cites 2025 total wagers of €164.6bn and tax revenue of about €11.4bn, and asks the government to reduce the territorial supply of gaming, particularly Awp and Vlt machines.
The proposals could change venue numbers, operating rules and consumer protections for Italy’s land-based gaming sector.
