Italy’s Democratic Party says gambling measures add no forecast tax revenue

Regulation

Italy’s Democratic Party said its dossier on the excise-tax decree attributes no additional revenue to the gambling provisions. The provisions apply from tax year 2026, with additional revenue allocated to the Fund for Structural Economic Policy Interventions, according to the dossier.

The tax treatment affects gambling concessionaires’ deductions for communications and sponsorship spending from 2026.
