Italian authorities conduct more than 40 gambling inspections in Abruzzo
Italy’s customs and monopolies agency, financial police, Carabinieri and State Police carried out more than 40 inspections at businesses in the provinces of L’Aquila and Pescara on 27 May 2026. Authorities found criminal and administrative violations, including businesses in both provinces that did not display a licence issued by the provincial police chief, according to the report.
Businesses without provincial police-chief licences on display may need to address violations identified during Abruzzo inspections.
