Imagine Live partners with Microgame as first Italian aggregator

Imagine Live has agreed a distribution partnership with Microgame, its first aggregator in Italy, the company announced. The deal gives Imagine Live access to Microgame's network of more than 35 licensed operators, putting its live-dealer games and original game shows in front of more Italian players, according to a press release.

Microgame is described in the release as the country's main gaming services provider and as maintaining long-standing relationships with operators across Italy, both online and in the retail channel. The partnership gives Imagine Live an established distribution channel and the opportunity to work with a company that has a deep knowledge of the local market, the release said.

Imagine Live has also developed games specifically for the Italian market, including Italian Blackjack, which uses native Italian-speaking dealers. The release said the game reflects the supplier's wider localisation approach, adapting its content and studio set-up to local player preferences. The collaboration will also make Imagine Live's broader portfolio available through Microgame's platform, including live casino titles and original game shows such as Land of Ra and Roulette Rouge.

Nadiya Attard, chief commercial officer of Imagine Live, said Italy is a market with real potential for the company and that partnering with Microgame as its first aggregator there is an important step towards that ambition. She said Imagine Live had put considerable work into building a portfolio offering operators a wide range of options, including games created specifically for the local audience, and that the company now has the opportunity to bring that content to a much wider network of Italian operators.

Francesco Cuzzupoli, gaming and sales director at Microgame, said Imagine Live has built a strong reputation in the live casino segment and that its portfolio is a good addition to Microgame's platform. He said the quality of its games, particularly its original game shows and content developed for the local audience, makes it a good option for the Italian market, and that Microgame sees value in bringing the content to its partner operators.
