iGaming Ontario reported CAD9.520bn in total cash wagers for the regulated market in January, up from CAD9.501bn in December. Non-adjusted gross gaming revenue was CAD401.5m, down 6% month on month; the figures exclude revenue from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s Proline platform.

Ontario iGaming wagers rose 21% year on year in March to a monthly record of CA$9.59bn, according to the report.
iGaming Ontario reported C$8.735bn in total wagers in February, 8% below January, and non-adjusted gross gaming revenue of C$342.4m, down 15%. Sports wagers fell 20% to C$946m and sports revenue declined 29% to C$61.3m; the figures cover the regulated commercial market and exclude the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation platform.
Ontario’s regulated online gambling market recorded €6.46 billion in wagers in May, reportedly 2% more than in April. Operators retained €280.9 million before deductions, also up 2%; casino wagers accounted for €5.71 billion, while sports wagers fell 7% to €661 million.
Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) is to suspend PointsBet’s licence over its handling of suspicious NBA wagers on former Toronto Raptors centre Jontay Porter, according to a report. The operator reportedly took 18 months to confirm that it had accepted the bets.
Ontario's AGCO said all grocery store licensees must comply with the Ontario Deposit Return Program from 1 January 2026, regardless of distance from a Beer Store location. Licensees must accept eligible empty liquor containers, refund deposits and post visible signage, the regulator said.
