HBG Online Gaming calls for clear rules on Italian gambling communications

HBG Online Gaming managing director Davide Diodato called for clear, consistent rules on gambling communications in Italy at iGB L!VE 2026. He said illegal operators use social media to reach vulnerable groups and proposed cooperation between AGCOM, ADM and online platforms to distinguish licensed operators from unauthorised ones.

The proposed coordination could affect how licensed operators and platforms address illegal gambling promotions.
