Guardia di Finanza warns of criminal interest in Italy’s illegal gambling market
Guardia di Finanza general Michele Esposito said organised crime is interested in gambling and that online enforcement is more difficult, particularly when internet providers are based abroad. He said the force works with ADM and uses a specialist unit to search the web for illegal activity, but said legal tools do not always support the technology required.
