Google opens US ads to federally regulated prediction markets, excluding Nevada
Google will allow federally regulated prediction markets to advertise on its platforms in the US from 21 January, reportedly. Eligibility is limited to CFTC-designated contract markets and NFA-registered brokers that provide access to them, subject to certification; Nevada is excluded, while binary-options advertising remains banned.
Eligible prediction-market operators can advertise on Google platforms, but Nevada remains outside the policy.
