Deals & M&A

GlobalData reported that betting companies spent $764.45m on football team sponsorships in EMEA during 2025, more than on sponsorships in other sports. The report said overall gambling sponsorship activity in the region declined after 2023 amid tighter regulation and industry consolidation, and identified bet365's UEFA Champions League partnership as the largest deal.

The figures offer operators and rights holders a measure of betting brands' sponsorship spending and activity in EMEA.
