Gaming Commission issues technical guidance on EPIS checks at newsagents

Belgium's Gaming Commission (KSC) issued a technical note on implementing EPIS checks at newsagents, ahead of rules taking effect on 1 May 2026. The law requires checks to use a suitable computer system installed on the device and certified by an accredited institution under the KSC's Technical Evaluations Department supervision. The commission prepared the note after consulting the newspaper trade sector.
Newsagents must use suitable certified computer systems for EPIS checks when the rules take effect.
