Gambling Commission suspends Targetlocal online betting licence

Enforcement & compliance

Britain’s Gambling Commission suspended Targetlocal Ltd’s online betting and gaming licence on 21 September, citing anti-money laundering compliance concerns. The Commission is reviewing the licence under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005, and the suspension will remain until it is satisfied that the business complies. The operator may no longer accept online bets but can process customer withdrawals.

Targetlocal must stop accepting online bets while the suspension remains in force.
